light.gif   On Asking For Help

Just a thought on Customer Service or Tech Support:

If you're on the receiving end of a complaint/help from a customer and the customer is upset,do you find yourself more willing to help them if they're upset at you or when they're really nice, courteous and calm?

The answer should be obvious. Don't you find it incredible to talk with customers who are demanding, upset, and even use obscenities (sometimes) when talking to you knowing they require your help?

The next time you're in this situation and you're the one who needs help, regardless of how frustrated you are, or upset over something not your fault, stay calm and civil and treat the other person how you would like to be treated at all times.

This is not only Christ-like. You're the one who needs help, not the other person. Think about it....
